Join Luke Tscharke and Jay Evans on an incredible opportunity to photograph the night sky amongst Australia’s most recognisable landmarks and superlative landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. With some exceptional access to the park at night, you will be treated to five days and four nights (three full days total) of dedicated astrophotography coaching and tuition, both in the field during capture and back at the accommodation including post-processing sessions. With ideal timing for dark night skies and the milky way rising in the early evening this workshop will help you take your astrophotography to the next level. With the absence of light pollution, the clear night skies in Australia’s red centre really do have to be seen to be believed.

|Price includes four nights accommodation (twin share), porterage, ground transport and fuel, park access fees, on-location coaching, image post-processing tuition. All food and drink is extra. Does not include airfares to and from Uluru. Does not include optional activities such as Uluru scenic flight or Field of Light admission. Prices based on twin share, single supplement is available.
Flights into Uluru are not included in the workshop cost and you will need to book and pay for these yourself. We recommend you book your flights into Ayers Rock (Connellan) Airport (AYQ) to arrive on the afternoon of Thursday June 14th, and depart on the morning/afternoon of Monday June 18th. You are of course welcome to arrive and depart outside of these times noting that additional accommodation will be at your own expense. In the unlikely event a workshop is cancelled, we will not be liable for costs relating to non refundable flight bookings. If you have any concerns regarding flight bookings, please discuss them with us.
WHAT TO BRING
The workshop will take place in Australia’s outback, where it can be very hot during the day and bitterly cold at night. We recommend you to bring clothing that can be applied in layers so you can be dressed for all conditions.
- Head torch (with new batteries)

- Clothing that can be worn in layers, including thermals
