Join Luke Tscharke and Jay Evans on an exciting astrophotography workshop based in Quirindi, New South Wales. With special access granted to the Superman barn at Breeza, the Quipolly Dam, and with the potential for the Canola crops to be at their peak, we are sure to have a bumper long photography weekend. The rural landscape and along with the spring season promises to uncover some stunning astrophotography potential.

During the workshop, you will be treated to three nights of dedicated astrophotography coaching and tuition, both in the field during capture and back at the accommodation including post processing sessions. Join us and we will help you take your astrophotography to the next level.

We recommend a moderate level of fitness for any night workshop and will be accessing rural properties with rocky tracks


Price includes accommodation, ground transport, on-location instruction, classroom and image processing classes. Does not include airfares. All food and drink is extra.


The workshop will take place across rural properties and council run facilities so access to any of these sites is easy for any fitness levels. We do, however, recommend being equipped with suitable hiking footwear and warm layered clothing for shooting in open and possibly windy locations at night.


  • Head torch (with new/fully charged batteries)
  • Good quality hiking boots
  • Warm layered clothing
  • Camera
  • Lenses suitable for astrophotography (feel free to contact Luke or Jay for advice)
  • Remote timer for camera
  • Sturdy Tripod
  • Water Bottle


  • Laptop (to get the most out of the post processing sessions)
